Our goal is to inform, entertain, inspire, draw together, and celebrate our love of nature, man and all things wild, natural and rural. Give us some diversity!!!

Yes, this site tells you what we've all been up to, the informing part, but we are so much more than all work and no play. We want a color photo of a Dogwood blossom for our winter edition and a snow drenched Cedar for our summer one. We want that article you've always been wanting to write on the joys of driving on Hoosier highways where the trees came right up to the edge of the road. We'll take that treatise you penned on the viability of replacing the power grid with solar panels and wood stoves. We'll even take that haiku you came up with on the perverse beauty of the setting sun's red glow on a trench of dead gray coal ash (why yes, consider that a challenge).
